VIDEO: WNBA Fight Last Night Saw Brittney Griner Get Ejected on Her Bobblehead Night

On Saturday night, the WNBA game between the Phoenix Mercury and Dallas Wings turned into a wild one when the Mercury's star center Brittney Griner went after Wings forward Kristine Anigwe. After the two got tangled up in the paint, Griner chased Anigwe, throwing punches as the Wings' newest player (she was acquired in a trade just five days ago) ran away, to the other end of the court.

Starting with the initial battle for a rebound, Griner came up swinging almost instantaneously. Craziness ensued from there, with a number of players, coaches and even the referee doing their best to hold her back. Griner was obviously ejected (along with five other players), and, to make things worse, it was on her bobblehead night in Phoenix.

As for Anigwe, she saw the first couple of punches come her way, and did her best Floyd Mayweather impression to dodge what she could. With that many punches coming her way, it's hard to blame her for simply running away.
With this being the last matchup of the season between the Mercury and the Wings, we'll have to wait until the next season to see Griner and Anigwe face off on the court again.
