VIDEO: Stefon Diggs Cost Bills Big Time With Lazy Play

Stefon Diggs has been a terrific addition for the Buffalo Bills. His talent and fit in the offense really can't be questioned at this point, as he's turned 59 targets into 42 receptions, 555 yards and 3 touchdowns, averaging a career-best 92.5 yards per game.
Diggs' attitude has always tended to draw more criticism than his play, however. Minnesota Vikings fans experienced that for years, and Bills fans got a first-hand taste of that in Monday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Down 9 points and trying to stage a fourth-quarter comeback against the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Bills were in their hurry-up offense. Diggs didn't seem to get the memo about their tempo, however, slowly trotting back to the line of scrimmage after a play.
He wasn't set for the required full second before the next snap, and that means he cost the team a false start penalty.
Were the Bills going to come back and overcome a two-score deficit in 90 seconds if Diggs hadn't committed the penalty? Probably not. But with even a tiny sliver of hope remaining, you really don't want to see your star players mailing it in.
That's the kind of attitude that can sink a team's Super Bowl hopes, and Diggs is certain to get an earful about it when the Bills review the game film on Tuesday.
