VIDEO: Remembering When Tom Brady Pinned the Broncos Deep With a Perfect Punt

Bill Belichick is known for using players in unconventional ways. Julian Edelman played cornerback for the team. So did Troy Brown. But perhaps the most bizarre instance of this is when Belichick decided to deploy Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback of all time, as a punter.
On third down, Brady catches the snap an uncorks a surprisingly good punt, pinning the Denver Broncos at about the 10-yard line. The punt was so good, it even led to a bit of a scuffle between the teams after the play.
The Patriots were up 45-10 (in the playoffs) against the Broncos at the time, so this decision was likely made to preserve Brady from taking any more hits, and let him have a little fun.
If his smile at the end of the clip is any indication, the call certainly certainly paid off in that respect.
