VIDEO: Remembering When Michigan Threw One of the Worst Interceptions of All Time Against Ohio State in 2017
By Zach Brunner

The Michigan Wolverines-Ohio State Buckeyes rivalry is one of the most heated in all of sports. Buckeye fans won’t even wear the color blue during the offseason. While both teams have had their highs and lows against each other, this interception from Michigan is certainly one of the team's lowest moments.
Hosting the 9-2 Buckeyes in 2017, the 8-3 Wolverines were expected to give Ohio State a run for its money. It was a one-point game entering the fourth quarter, but as has been the tradition with Jim Harbaugh-coached Michigan teams, they beat themselves, and this play was the dagger.
Back to pass for Michigan was John O'Korn, who is not a household name for a good reason. While there was pressure coming into O'Korn's lap, he threw deep into the center of the field, and there was no receiver even remotely close to the area.
Rivalries since 2000:
— CFB Country (@tCFBCountry) June 8, 2020
- Auburn leads Alabama (11-9)
- Ohio St leads Michigan (17-3)
- Florida leads Georgia (12-8)
- Oklahoma leads Texas (14-7)
- Navy leads Army (16-4)
- Ole Miss and Mississippi St (10-10)
- Clemson leads South Carolina (13-7)
- Florida and Florida St (10-10)
That infamous play came in a 4-point game, with less than three minutes left on the clock. Ohio State would go on to win, 31-20.
It's a play Ohio State fans will never forget, though the Michigan faithful would surely like to.
