New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is a legend of the game and will forever be known for proving doubters wrong. From those thinking he was too short to be a successful quarterback to overcoming a torn labrum, Brees has turned doubters into believers.

Brees is also widely viewed as an old, pocket quarterback that isn't very mobile. This label was another thing he proved wrong, back in Week 3 of the 2018 NFL season. Brees saw some real estate ahead of him, so he decided to use his leg for this big play.

Drew Brees Spin Move Against Falcons

With under two minutes left to play and being down seven, Brees took matters into his own hands. He was flushed out of the pocket to his left when he saw a lot of green. After picking up a couple yards, two Atlanta Falcons defenders closed on him fast.

However, one defender didn't square up to him, and the missed tackle took the other defender out of the play, creating the opportunity for Brees to show off his footwork.

A well-timed spin move and a dive for the end zone result in a touchdown for Brees. The game would go to overtime, where the Saints came out with the win, 43-37. Brees finished with five total touchdowns in the game, with two coming on the ground.
