At his peak, Adrian Peterson was one of the most dynamic running backs the NFL has ever seen. The 2012 campaign was unquestionably the best year of his career, though, as he amassed an insane 2,097 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 348 carries.
But few of those attempts were as impressive as this ridiculous 74-yard rush against the Seattle Seahawks.
Peterson clearly runs out of gas at the end, but you can't really blame him. He stiff-arms two would-be tacklers, blows by a third and does a video-game juke to split two defenders before blowing by another. Expending that much energy allowed Brandon Browner, who was never exactly known for his top-end speed, to catch up with him.
That didn't prove too consequential, though, as Peterson punched it in on his next carry.
Minnesota would ultimately go on to lose this one, 30-20, but Vikings fans will never forget Peterson's ludicrous 74-yard scamper.
