It was such an uneventful season for the New York Giants that some may forget Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley even played together in 2018. The team may have finished 5-11, but here was one special moment between the two stars just four games into the season.

OBJ Trick Play TD to Saquon Barkley

I mean, this play worked to absolute perfection. It makes that 2018 Giants offense look insanely versatile, even though history will tell us that it was not. The entire Carolina Panthers defense immediately flocks to Odell, forgetting entirely that this was a backwards pass and that Barkley is slipping out on the weak side.

Saquon might as well be at the NYC beaches in January with how much space he has, all OBJ really has to do is loft it in there. To his credit, he shows off his arm and does just that, making a solid cross-field toss before almost getting flattened. Who ever said Beckham was a selfish player?

This is not one you would like to remember if you're Ron Rivera and the Carolina Panthers. Rivera is now coaching the Washington Redskins, so don't think he'll forget about this one next time he faces off against his new rival. OBJ might be gone, but Saquon is now the face of the franchise.
