VIDEO: Remembering Noah Fant's Incredible 75-Yard Touchdown
The Denver Broncos have been touted as having one of the best young offseasons in the NFL this year, due to the perceived strong rookie class they drafted. While these offensive rookies look to be electric playmakers, we shouldn't forget about the second-year players that have shown to have high potential as well. Tight end Noah Fant, in particular, showed real promise down the stretch last season.
Fant had an up and down rookie season, as is typical for rookie tight ends. However, when he was up, he was fantastic. One of the best highlights from his rookie season was when he took the ball 75 yards for the quick score during Denver's Week 9 game against the Cleveland Browns.
The catch was Fant's long for his rookie year, but the highlights did not stop there. He finished the year with 40 catches for 562 yards and three touchdowns.
This passing game for the Broncos could become a problem for defenses around the league in 2020. To go along with Fant at tight end, Denver drafted another athletic player in Albert Okwuegbunam. Then, the receiving corps consists of third-year star Courtland Sutton, plus rookies Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler.
At quarterback is second-year player Drew Lock, who should already have some chemistry with rookie Okquegbunam, due to being teammates at Missouri. This Broncos offense is young, athletic and talented, and they will go as far as Lock can take them.
