In addition to being the best quarterback in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes also might be the QB with the most impressive array of trick throws in his bag.

It's no secret that his no-look passes are a thing of beauty, but this year it looks like he's working on a new trick at Kansas City Chiefs training camp.

The video isn't especially clear, since media members were not allowed to film this portion of practice, but that's Mahomes slinging a behind-the-back what looks to be at least 20 yards in the air.

The fact that he's specifically making this throw during a portion of practice that can't be filmed is especially interesting.

On the surface it seems hard to believe that he'd try to bust out something like this in a live game, but NFL team's aren't exactly known for taking a lax attitude toward practice. Would Mahomes really be wasting live reps like this if he didn't think there was at least a chance he'd do it in a game?

And with Andy Reid scheming up the most creative offense in the NFL, it's certainly not out of the question that a trick play could be drawn up to take advantage of this new weapon in Mahomes' arsenal.
