VIDEO: Joe Johnson is Tearing Up the Big3 With His Old-Man Game

The Big3 tournament is currently enjoying its third year of existence, as it attempts to fill the summer basketball void left by the NBA. The league, founded by hip-hop legend Ice Cube, pits former NBA players against each other in three-on-three, half-court action, with games played until a team scores 50, winning by at least two points.
Just like any other sports league, the Big3 needs its own superstar player to drive the brand. This year, they may have finally found that guy in former NBA All-Star Joe Johnson.

On August 4, in a game between Johnson's Triplets and the 3 Headed Monsters (coached by NBA legend Gary Payton), "Iso Joe" had arguably the signature moment of the Big3's three-year history.
With the score at 48-46 in the Monster's favor, Johnson hit one of his classic step-back jumpers from four-point territory. Yes, there'a four-point shot in the Big3. Johnson's shot iced the game for the Triplets in truly epic fashion.

The Triplets are currently 6-1 on the season, good for first place in the Big3. Johnson leads the league with 156 points scored, ahead of former Texas Tech standout Andre Emmett (118 points), who had a brief NBA career with the Grizzlies and Nets.
