Tua Tagovailoa Disrespected by PFF's QB Rankings for 2021 Season

The progress of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be a huge focus around the league this season. Miami retooled its offense and let veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick walk this offseason, clearing the way for the 2020 fifth-overall pick to take over under center.
There's optimism around the Dolphins that Tagovailoa will take off in Year 2. Yet his ranking by ProFootballFocus heading into the 2021 campaign is disrespectful.

Tua comes in at No. 29 on PFF's starter rankings for the upcoming season. While his rookie year was far from perfect, ranking him as the fourth-worst starter and behind some rookies who haven't even played yet is absurd.
Tagovailoa had a solid start to his NFL career in 2020. He totaled 1,814 yards, 11 TDs and 5 INTs across 10 games, and went 6-3 in his nine starts. Tua also added another 109 yards and 3 scores on the ground as well.
Leading a loaded offense that welcomes in Jaylen Waddle and Will Fuller alongside DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki, Tua is set up to do some serious damage in 2021.
It's incredibly hard to see Tagovailoa being a bottom-tier QB this season based on his beneficial situation and already solid accuracy. It'd be no surprise to see this low ranking look foolish in hindsight.
