Trevor Bauer is no stranger to stirring up some drama, as he has fought the MLB all season regarding different designs on his cleats and has been known to be a bit cocky out on the field. In his most recent act, Bauer posted a cryptic tweet about a trip to Boston that caused some rumors to swirl regarding his impending free agency.

There's no doubt Bauer will be one of the most sought-after players in the free agency market this year as he is seems to be entering the prime of his career. Now who knows why Bauer is actually heading to Boston, but it isn't to talk to the Red Sox as he doesn't officially become a free agent until after the World Series ends.

Bauer finished the season 5-4 with a 1.73 ERA (No. 1 in the MLB) and is a widely considered candidate for the National League Cy Young Award. He now enters free agency and has said he is open to joining any team as long as they welcome him with open arms.

You can't help but think Bauer is going to make his decision very interesting throughout the entire offseason. This is probably just the start to a whole string of antics he has in store, and this will certainly be an entertaining journey for one of the most outspoken players in the league.
