Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson has been in the headlines as of late after pictures of what the hardware in his neck looks like have surfaced. A former teammate of his in Tre Flowers took the time to tweet a touching message about the matter, saying Carson just popped in his mind.

Seattle Seahawks News

Flowers showed Carson some love and called the ball-carrier the GOAT, meaning the greatest of all time. Carson has reiterated that he has no plans of retiring and looks forward to what Seattle can accomplish in 2022. The 27-year-old reportedly has "no timeline" for his return to the field, though.

It's safe to say these two know each other quite well after spending three and a half NFL seasons together from 2018-2021. Flowers posted 235 tackles (3.0 for loss), 17 pass breakups, 5 forced fumbles and 3 interceptions during his time with the Seahawks before being cut last October.

Carson was once one of head coach Pete Carroll's most reliable offensive players. However, the running back's last two seasons have been filled with concerning injuries. Carson has only played in 16 games during that span, racking up 1,229 yards from scrimmage and 12 total touchdowns.

Flowers will look to remain a key depth piece for the Cincinnati Bengals after re-signing with the team this past offseason. Meanwhile, all eyes are set on whether Carson will suit up at all in 2022. The Seahawks have odds set at +430 to make the NFL Playoffs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
