Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is already in the midst of another dominant season, leading all NFL tight ends in receptions (58) and yards (769) while also being tied for the most touchdown grabs (6). Kelce has been one of the league's premier talents at the tight end position since bursting on to the scene with the Chiefs in 2014.

Kelce's phenomenal production has put him only 6 receptions away from passing Hall-of-Famer Tony Gonzalez for the second-most catches by a tight end in his first eight seasons.

It's very likely that Kelce (565 career receptions) could leap past Gonzalez (570 receptions) this week. Kelce is averaging 6.4 receptions per game this season as one of Patrick Mahomes' favorite weapons once again.

If Kelce does pass Gonzalez, he'll only trail Jason Witten (617) for the most receptions by a tight end in their first eight seasons. Witten will be on the opposing sideline as the Chiefs take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11.

This milestone could be yet another accomplishment for the tight end in his early career. Kelce already owns the record for most yards by a tight end in their first eight seasons (7,234).
