Week 4 was a banner week for this column. All three of our choices, including even Zach Wilson, put up at least 17.7 fantasy points. More importantly, we gave you two top-five performers in Sam Darnold (31.54 points; QB2) and Taylor Heinicke (27.9 points; QB5).

Now we'll try to stay hot heading into Week 5. Here are our top three streaming quarterbacks, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues, to target in Week 5.

Streaming QB Week 5

3. Trey Lance, San Francisco 49ers (31% Rostered)

Trey Lance has been a fantasy production machine in limited action this season. Heading into Week 4, Lance had accounted for 2 total touchdowns on just 7 career snaps. He only played during the second half in Week 4, but he racked up 20.38 fantasy points, posting a weekly finish of QB13. He might be up and down as a real-life quarterback, but it's clear that he's going to be a force from a fantasy perspective. Even against the stout Arizona Cardinals' defense, Lance has top-10 potential.

2. Daniel Jones, New York Giants (31% Rostered)

Daniel Jones is in the midst of the best stretch of his career. He's currently the QB6 in fantasy, sitting just 0.6 points behind the QB5 Sam Darnold. Jones has really boosted his value as a runner, recording at least 27 yards in every game this season while averaging 47.0 rushing yards per outing. Mix in the fact that Jones is averaging 297.0 passing yards per game with only 1 interception on the year, and Danny Dimes may have QB1 upside the rest of the way. It's hard to see any of that changing against a Dallas Cowboys' defense that has allowed top-four production to opposing QBs.

1. Sam Darnold, Carolina Panthers (38% Rostered)

Sam Darnold makes this article easy. He's going to be a mainstay on this piece every week until he's finally rostered in more than 50% of leagues. He's also put up at least 18.9 points in every game this season, including back-to-back performances of at least 25.0 points. He'll now face off with a Philadelphia Eagles defense that surrenders above-average production to the quarterback position. Darnold will be in the QB1 conversation again this week.
