Week 1 of the 2021 season brought plenty of surprises. Supposed fantasy superstars like Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Tannehill didn't live up to the hype, while fringe starters like Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow showed flashes of brilliance.

Even Matt Ryan, who is seemingly one of the safest fantasy fantasy QBs year in and year out, failed to show up.

If you're thinking about making a switch at QB for Week 2, here are our top three streaming quarterback picks, rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues, to target on the waiver wire.

3. Mac Jones, New England Patriots (26% Rostered)

Mac Jones impressed in his NFL debut. Taking on what was a top-six pass defense by DVOA last year, Jones threw for 281 yards with 1 touchdown and no interceptions. He should have very little trouble upping those numbers against a New York Jets' defense that has been ravaged by injuries. Even when healthy, it's not like this group was particularly imposing. New York was the league's fifth-worst pass defense by DVOA last year.

2. Teddy Bridgewater, Jacksonville Jaguars (11% Rostered)

The Jacksonville Jaguars' defense looked like a dumpster fire in Week 1. They were torched to the tune of 291 yards and 2 touchdowns by Tyrod Taylor and the Houston Texans. Coming into the season, people obviously did not expect Taylor to be putting up those type of numbers. But it looks like that could just be par for the course against Jacksonville this year. That makes Teddy Bridgewater a compelling streamer. He put up 264 yards and 2 scores in an easy Week 1 win and should be in for an even better outing against this pass defense.

1. Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints (44% Rostered)

Jameis Winston showed out in Week 1, scoring the third-most fantasy points among all QBs. He threw 5 touchdowns against a solid Green Bay Packers defense, averaging a robust 12.4 adjusted yards per pass attempt (AY/A). Winston has been a top-five fantasy QB in the past, and if he's for real this year, he shouldn't have much trouble dicing up a middling Carolina Panthers' defense. If Winston keeps up this level of play, this will probably be the only week he's eligible for this list.
