With injuries, bye weeks, and busts, your fantasy team may need a stopgap starting QB off the waiver wire ahead of week 8.

With that in mind, here are three quarterbacks, all owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues, that could be good streaming options in Week 8.

3. Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans (12% Owned)

Ryan Tannehill impressed in his first start of the season, finishing as fantasy football's QB14 with 19.2 fantasy points against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7. He was highly efficient in the win, completing 23 of 29 passes for 312 yards with two TDs and one interception. It's a small sample, but he's now averaging 9.0 adjusted yards per pass attempt in 2019, which blows away his previous career high of 7.3. We can expect regression on that front, but he shouldn't slow down too much in Week 8 against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has allowed the NFL's 12th-most adjusted yards per attempt and seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs.

2. Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders (21% Owned)

Derek Carr has dealt with a rough schedule for fantasy purposes in 2019, with three of his six opponents having been teams holding QBs to bottom-seven fantasy production on the year. He also hasn't faced a single opponent that has allowed top-12 numbers. The Houston Texans will be by far his most favorable matchup of the year, as their 20.8 fantasy points per game allowed to QBs are the sixth most in the NFL. He hasn't been playing terribly lately either, completing over 75 percent of his passes in three of his last four games with six touchdowns to only two interceptions in that time, making him a solid waiver wire sleeper add.

1. Mason Rudolph, Pittsburgh Steelers (10% Owned)

Allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing QBs, the Miami Dolphins defense has been truly abysmal against the pass. Their 11.0 adjusted yards per attempt allowed are more than a full yard over what any other team is giving up, and they've allowed a 127.9 passer rating. Mason Rudolph is set to return after clearing the concussion protocol, and in his two full games this year, he notched 14.5 and 16.9 fantasy points. That level of production is more than enough to leave him well positioned to take advantage of one of the most favorable matchups around. Rudolph sits at QB12 in our Week 8 PPR fantasy football rankings.
