Defensive scoring in fantasy football depends more on weekly matchups than maybe any other position. There are very few true, every-week starting options out there, and all but the absolute worst defenses can be viable if they're in the right matchup.

Every week there are plenty of defenses worth starting that are available on the waiver wire, and it pays to be vigilant in keeping up with the best weekly plays at the position.

With that said, here are the top three fantasy football streaming defenses for Week 15, all of which are available in at least 50 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues.

3. New York Giants vs Miami Dolphins

Sure, the New York Giants' defense is usually one we're targeting with offensive players in fantasy, but a matchup with the Miami Dolphins changes things for Week 15. The Dolphins' 15.9 percent turnover rate is the third highest in the NFL, and their 9.6 percent sack rate is the fourth highest, leading to them giving up the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses. The Giants are a boom-or-bust option, but they're also available in 94 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football leagues as of Tuesday afternoon, making them an accessible streaming option in just about any league.

2. Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers

The Seattle Seahawks have struggled to get after the QB this year, ranking 29th with 23 sacks. The Carolina Panthers' 9.1 percent sack rate is the ninth highest in the NFL though, which should give Seattle's pass rush a nice boost. Seattle's 17.8 percent takeaway rate is also third in the NFL, giving it plenty of upside against the turnover-prone Panthers and Kyle Allen, who has thrown 12 picks and lost three fumbles across his last seven games.

1. Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos

As 10-point home favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook, we can expect the Kansas City Chiefs to play from ahead for much of this game. That will give them plenty of chance to get at rookie Drew Lock, who is playing behind a Denver Broncos' o-line that has allowed the eighth-highest sack rate in the NFL. KC has averaged 10.5 fantasy points per game over the last four, and overall it ranks eighth in fantasy scoring among defenses on the year. That success has a good chance of continuing in Week 15.
