Tony Finau was not among the leading favorites to win the 2021 Open Championship when the tournament started. His odds opened at +4100, but dropped to +5000 on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Finau's odds to win plummeted following Round 1 after he took a double-bogey on the tough closing par 4 at No. 18 to finish with an even par score of 70.

FanDuel Sportsbook's Open Championship odds now have Finau at +13000, and he'll have an earlier tee-time Friday to get back in the chase of Round 1 leaders Louis Oosthuizen (-6), Jordan Spieth (-5) and Brian Harman (-5).

As FanDuel bettors follow their tournament plays into the weekend at Royal St. George's. Finau (-126) now trails in his match-up against Abraham Ancer, who shot a 1-under-par 69 in Round 1.

Tony Finau is the only player in The Open field who finished top-10 in both the 2018 and 2019 British Opens, including solo 3rd in 2019 at Royal Portrush.
