The NFL world is buzzing after the announcement that Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes will all be competing in this year's The Match. This celebrity-filled golf tournament will feature Brady and Rodgers teaming up to take on Allen and Mahomes for charity.

Brady, who's as competitive as they come, is preparing for the big showdown by lobbing trash talk at Allen on Twitter.

The Match 2022 Golf

Brady's Twitter account posted a photoshopped picture of him standing over a kid-sized Allen on the golf course, clearly in an effort to get the mental edge over his competitor. There's nothing like some old school trash talk to get everyone excited for the big day.

This is likely only a preview of Brady's pre-Match antics that are sure follow ahead of the tournament, which is slated to take place on June 1.

It'd be no shock at all to see Allen respond to Brady's attempts at getting inside his head. Mahomes has an active Twitter presence as well, so he could get in on the pre-tourney trash talk, and there's no ruling out Rodgers entering the fray, too.

The back-and-forth between the old timers and the young guns is sure to only add to the anticipation of their competition later this summer.
