Tom Brady is human after all? Well, one stat about his throwing abilities might have just proven that to us.
There's no denying TB12 is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. His six Super Bowl rings more than back that up. But, there's one aspect of his game that simply hasn't aged like a fine wine.
Tom Brady attempted half the number of passes aimed at least 40 yards downfield in 2018 than he did in 2017. He went 1-for-11.

Brady hasn't thrown a TD on a pass aimed 40+ yards downfield in over two seasons, and has one in the last four years.
For fans who tune in every Sunday to watch 50-yard bombs travel through the air for touchdowns, it's probably best to skip New England Patriots' games next season. Though Brady was efficient in 2018, throwing the deep ball wasn't something he excelled at.
To his credit, the superstar QB finished the year throwing for 4,355 yards and 29 touchdowns in another Super Bowl winning season. And he did that all despite being 41 years old.

Sure, he isn't throwing rockets down the field anymore, but something tells me Brady is going to be just fine moving forward. The man truly is an ageless wonder.
