Tom Brady Free Agency Odds Have Patriots as Heavy Favorites

The 2020 NFL offseason is loaded with compelling storylines and narratives. But few, if any, are as intriguing as the mystery surrounding Tom Brady's future with the New England Patriots.

While he's been under center for the Patriots since 2001, there's apparently a real chance he's already played his last snap in New England. Even given all that uncertainty, though, the Patriots (-280) are still considered the favorites to re-sign the future Hall-of-Famer, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

New England might be the heavy favorite, but it looks like the team that knocked the Patriots out of the playoffs, the Tennessee Titans, could be vying for Brady's services as well. At +550, the Titans have the second-best odds to sign Brady.

Following Tennessee, the Las Vegas Raiders check in with the third-best odds (+650), thanks in part to the fact that Derek Carr could be traded. That puts the Raiders significantly ahead of the Los Angeles Chargers (+1500) and Indianapolis Colts (+2200), who have the fourth and fifth-best odds, respectively.

Despite the fact that Brady has denied it many times, there is still a chance he retires, which is available at +3400.

While the Patriots might have an advantage right now, these odds will certainly continue to shift as this story develops and landing spots start to shake out for this year's loaded QB free agent class.
