The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had an incredibly disappoitning season thus far, sitting at just 6-8. However, since the NFC South is the worst division in football this year, the Bucs sit in first place at 6-8.

Buccaneers Week 16 Injury News

Heading into Week 16, the Buccaneers are dealing with injuries on both sides of the ball and head coach Todd Bowles provided an update on Wednesday. He said left tackle Donovan Smith didn;t practice today because of a footinjury, but did not indicate his status for this weekend.

On the other hand, cornerback Jamel Dean most likely will not play on Sunday, according to Bowles.

Dean has played in 13 games so far this season, but also missed last week's game. This would be his second consecutive game out because of this toe injury. Dean has made some plays on defense this year, recording two interceptions and 7 passes defended. The depth of the Bucs' secondary would take a hit if he's not able to go again.

The Buccaneers are currently 7.5-point road favorites against a banged-up Arizona Cardinals team in Week 16, according to FanDuel Sportsbooks's latest NFL odds.
