The Tennessee Titans have been ravaged by injuries on offense this season and will aim to get healthy down the playoff stretch. The team did get some amazing news regarding wide receiver Julio Jones on Monday. The veteran pro was designated to return to practice from a hamstring injury.
Julio Jones Injury Update
Jones has missed Tennessee's last three games as well as a bye week while spending time on the injured reserve. That means he has had over a month to heal and get ready. While this doesn't necessarily mean Jones will be back on the field in Week 14, it is a step in the right direction.
Keep in mind the Titans are also without dynamic WR A.J. Brown after he was placed on the IR due to a chest injury. This offense is in need of a spark and getting a seven-time Pro Bowler back certainly fits that bill. Jones has racked up 336 yards on 21 receptions (31 targets) across six games this year.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has lacked a deep threat over the last few weeks and Jones averages an impressive 15.2 yards per receptions throughout his 10 year career. It's worth watching the 32-year-old's participation in practice this week because it looks like the Jones could be back in action soon.
Tennessee currently sits in first place of the AFC South division and will look to keep their winning ways going against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14. The Titans head into that matchup as 10-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
