New York Jets fans have to be excited about what the team did this offseason. They invested in their offensive line, bolstered their secondary and added some talented playmakers for Sam Darnold to work with.

That group has been headlined by the addition of Baylor's Denzel Mims in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Regarded as a top-10 wide receiver in the draft by many, Mims was surprisingly the 13th wide receiver off the board.

Him and Darnold are bonding early, though, and this video should get fans excited for what's to come.

Mims is an athletic freak. Standing 6-foot-3 and running a 4.38-second 40 time, he has the potential to grow into one of the best receivers in the league. His biggest weakness might be his unpolished route running, so it's great to see him getting some extra work in with his quarterback.

Playing four seasons with the Baylor Bears, Mims caught 66 passes for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns in his senior year. Without many other established wideouts on the team, the rookie will be thrown into action early on, and he should see as many targets as he can handle.

This Jets offense is quickly turning around. With an improved offensive line, Le'Veon Bell and Frank Gore should be able to do some damage on the ground. The running game sets up the passing game, and Darnold, Mims, Jamison Crowder, Breshad Perriman and Chris Herndon have the potential to surprise some people this season.
