This Stat Proves the Steelers Have the Best Defensive Front in 2020

The Pittsburgh Steelers are itching to get back on the field, after being forced into a bye week in Week 4. Despite a somewhat slower start from their offense, with Ben Roethlisberger getting back up to speed, the Steelers remain unbeaten. Much of this success can be attributed to their stout defense.
While Pittsburgh has an all-around solid defense, there should be little doubt that their defensive front is the best in football and this stat goes a long way in proving that.
Pittsburgh has three of the top four individual players in quarterback pressures in under two seconds. This alone is ridiculous and impressive. However, this stat becomes even more impressive when we remember that the Steelers have had just three games.
Most QB pressures in 2 seconds or less:

2. T.J. Watt, Steelers - 10

The Steelers have limited opponents to completing just 59.8 percent of their passes, which is the third-best in the NFL. While there is plenty of talent in their secondary, it's the defensive front that really drives this stat.
Along with the talent on their defensive front, the Steelers are also very willing to bring extra rushers, leading to many unblocked blitzers. Pittsburgh calls blitzes 51.2 percent of the time, which is by far the highest in the league. Facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5, Carson Wentz has likely not had a good week of sleep.
