This Celtics-Patriots Crossover Jersey Concept Looks Amazing on Julian Edelman

The New England Patriots unveiled some new uniforms ahead of the 2020 NFL season, but that hasn't stopped fans from really going outside the box to dream up cool new jersey concepts as well.

The Pick 6 on Instagram has posted some very cool NBA-NFL throwback jersey crossovers, and their Boston Celtics look on Julian Edelman is great.

Like the Celtics' recent "City Edition" uniforms, these are a great throwback to Boston's 2006 St. Patrick's Day uniforms. The gold belt, gloves and stripe on the pants add to the gold lettering to give some nice contrast to Boston's usual green. The gold Notre Dame-esque helmet is a really nice touch as well.

The Patriots have plenty of question marks heading into the 2020 NFL season, but with the Celtics season still on hold until the end of July, fans in Boston have to be pretty excited about both sports returning.
