Super Bowl LIV is history, with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs taking home the Lombardi Trophy. However, that now means it's time to look ahead to Super Bowl LV and who is favored to win it.

Similar to the Green Bay Packers (+2200), the Seattle Seahawks, who sit at +2000 on FanDuel Sportsbook, seem to be getting slighted in their odds, which give them the 10th-best chance of winning the Super Bowl in 2021. This is nothing new for a Seahawks team that thrived as underdogs all season.

Teams tend to embody their leaders though, and quarterback Russell Wilson has been overlooked for most of his career, exemplified by the fact that he was drafted just 75th overall by Seattle. Since then, he's won rookie of the year, a Super Bowl (getting within on yard of winning a second), made the Pro Bowl seven times, been a second-team All-Pro once and has a career passer rating of 101.2, which is good for the second-best rating of all time (trailing only Aaron Rodgers).

This franchise always seems to have a winning culture, and credit the Allen family ownership, general manager John Schneider, and head coach Pete Carroll for that. With young stars like wide receiver D.K. Metcalf (900 yards receiving, 7 touchdowns) only getting better and an offseason ahead for the banged-up team to get healthy, the Seahawks should come in to next year looking to prove these odds wrong.
