The Kansas City Chiefs team is set to look a lot different next year in certain areas. In an effort to clear some cap and get a little younger and healthier, Kansas City has released a couple of members of its starting offensive line. However, they are also expected to lose wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who is an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
While the Chiefs are already tight against the cap, a replacement for Watson will have to be made with finances in mind, and one way Kansas City could look to accomplish that is by stealing Nelson Agholor away from the division rival Las Vegas Raiders.
Agholor had a rebound year in Las Vegas after a rocky few years in Philadelphia. Hauling in 48 passes for 896 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2019.
If Agholor can be had for a reasonable number, he could step in to be the perfect replacement for Watkins in this lethal Chiefs offense. He would provide Patrick Mahomes with another speedy deep-ball option. If you can get this while also hurting a division rival, it would be a win-win situation.
