The Houston Texans came in as heavy 9.5-point underdogs for Sunday's AFC Divisional Round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The underdogs, given +400 moneyline odds and +650 odds to win the AFC Championship before kickoff, got off to an incredible start and blew away those expectations in the first quarter.

A first-drive TD pass to Kenny Stills, punt block TD and goal-line TD scored following a muffed punt got Houston out to a massive 21-0 lead in the first quarter. That is the most first-quarter points the Texans have scored in any contest in their 298-game franchise history.

Predictably, FanDuel Sportsbook has shifted the betting lines drastically with this hot start for the Texans. As of the end of the first quarter, the Texans are 7.5-point favorites, with -350 moneyline odds.

This game isn't totally out of reach for the Chiefs, especially with how crazy the NFL postseason has been this year, but they're now fighting a major uphill battle, especially after top WR Tyreek Hill got banged up on their final drive of the first quarter.
