Texans Secure OL Depth With Latest Signing
By Max Staley

The Houston Texans have been remarkably busy this offseason. General manager Nick Caserio has made a ton of acquisitions thus far, headlined by the additions of running back Phillip Lindsay and defensive back Desmond King.
Houston's latest transaction is nowhere near as splashy, but it's a solid move. The Texans re-signed offensive tackle Roderick Johnson to a one-year deal.

Johnson played 245 snaps for the team last year and proved to be reliable. ProFootballFocus gave him a 64.5 overall grade and he received a 73.9 grade as a run blocker. That's pretty great considering he's likely going to be a swing tackle in 2021.
He won't be taking Laremy Tunsil's job anytime soon, but were the superstar tackle to go down, having Johnson backing him up will be a huge help.
