Texans Have Chance to Appease Deshaun Watson With Coaching Search

The Houston Texans will be hiring a head coach soon now that they have a new general manager in longtime New England Patriots player personnel director Nick Caserio. But the question remains: Will Caserio consult with frustrated star QB Deshaun Watson before a trade request is on the table?
It appears the Texans are pausing their search to get Caserio into the fold, so now is the time to regroup and get Watson involved.
Texans are resetting their coaching search now that Nick Caserio is in town after being hired as their general manager, per league sources. Their interview list will be updated in the next few days. They have previously interviewed Marvin Lewis, Jim Caldwell and Joe Brady

Apparently, Houston's management team has not spoken with Watson in the past few days, and the Pro Bowl quarterback is upset about not being asked for input in the hiring process. The Texans have not reached out to Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy yet, whom Watson reportedly likes, which might be considered a big mistake.
Texans fans don't want to believe a Watson trade could result from his frustration with the team, but it was also hard to believe when the team traded star wideout DeAndre Hopkins.
Houston has many issues it needs to sort out this offseason, including fixing a truly bad defense, which makes finding the right head coach crucial. Watson's happiness should also be a top priority, so at least listening to his feedback about coaching candidates would be a great start.
