Terry McLaurin Stats

Ohio State redshirt senior Terry McLaurin was one of the bigger winners coming out of the 2019 Senior Bowl this January. He consistently displayed impressive lateral quickness and a strong football IQ that translated into excellent routs during his time in Columbus. He also displayed an excellent knack for finding soft spots in a defensive backfield with quick accelerations into those spaces.

McLaurin had just 1,251 receiving yards and 75 receptions in 44 games during his four-year career as a Buckeye, which leaves much to be desired. However, McLaurin did progress each year and his final season with Ohio State saw him haul in 35 receptions for 701 yards. He may not have the ceiling that other first-round wide receivers have possessed in previous drafts, but McLaurin is an experienced and win-now type of pick.

Terry McLaurin Draft Prediction

Indianapolis Colts (No. 26, No. 34), San Francisco 49ers (No. 36)

Andrew Luck finally looks like he's at full health once again heading into the 2019 season, and the Colts appear to be back on the winning track as well. Devin Funchess' one-year, $10 million deal with Indianapolis looks like a short-term patch at the WR position, and McLaurin's strengths could make him a great fit to play with T.Y. Hilton.

If the Colts pass on McLaurin with both their No. 26 and No. 34 picks, the 49ers could be in the hunt with their No. 36 overall pick. Now that San Francisco will have Jimmy Garoppolo back for the 2019 season, they could use a pickup like McLaurin to compete with second-year WR Dante Pettis and third-year WR Trent Taylor.
