Tee Higgins Reveals Desired NFL Jersey Number Honoring Bengals WR Legend on Twitter
By Max Staley

Tee Higgins has some big shoes to fill with the Cincinnati Bengals. The No. 33 pick in the NFL Draft, fans already have some pretty high expectations for the former Clemson standout, but he might've just raised the bar.
Late Sunday night, Higgins seemingly tweeted his desire to wear No. 85 in Cincinnati – the same number Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson made famous.

But the similarities don't end there. Joe Burrow wore No. 9 at LSU, the same number Carson Palmer had during his tenure with Johnson and the Bengals. It looks like a new era in Cincinnati could be beginning with a callback to an old one.
The No. 85 jersey also became available in Cincinnati once again with the departure of tight end Tyler Eifert this offseason. Notably, Johnson seems okay with Higgins' decision too, giving his stamp of approval by re-tweeting Higgins' message.

Barring any unforeseen changes, it looks like this could be the beginning of another great Bengals' connection.
