Since entering the league in 2016, Ezekiel Elliott has established himself as one of the NFL's top running backs for the Dallas Cowboys.

Though his four-year career in the NFL has been marred by a controversial domestic violence suspension and a protracted contract dispute, no one doubts that Elliott is one of the most talented backs of his day. It's worth looking at which three teams he's performed the best against in his career thus far.

3. Detroit Lions

In three games against the Detroit Lions, Elliott has averaged 5.23 yards per carry and scored 5 touchdowns. While he doesn't have elite yardage totals against the Lions, that has mostly stemmed from the Cowboys blowing the Lions out in their first meeting. The Cowboys have won all three games they've played against Detroit since Elliott joined the team.

2. San Francisco 49ers

Although Elliott has only played the San Francisco 49ers twice (once each in 2016 and 2017), he made a lasting impression. He had 285 rushing yards and 91 receiving yards across both games, scoring 4 touchdowns in two comfortable Cowboys wins. The 49ers' defense wasn't in a great state at the time, but Elliott was utterly unstoppable.

1. Washington Redskins

While the Washington Redskins have had a terrible team for the last four years, Elliott has repeatedly crushed them in their seven meetings. Elliott has averaged 102.5 yards per game in his career against Washington, scoring 9 touchdowns over that span. At that pace, Zeke would have a huge 1,640 yards and 20 touchdowns if he got to play a full 16-game season against Washington. Dallas is also 6-1 against Washington with Elliott in the game. In fact, in divisional games that Elliott has started, Dallas has an overall record of 15-4.
