Surprise Ravens Player Named Josh Allen Replacement for Pro Bowl

For the second straight season, the Baltimore Ravens missed out on postseason football while injuries to quarterback Lamar Jackson played a major role down the stretch. But, that hasn't stopped Baltimore from being well-represented at the 2023 Pro Bowl.
Five Ravens were named to the initial AFC Pro Bowl roster. But, the week after the conference championships is a common time for more replacements to be added. Between the representatives from both Super Bowl teams dropping out, and nagging injuries, several spots have opened up.
That includes the quarterback position for the AFC. Josh Allen announced he'll bypass the Pro Bowl in 2023, opening up a shocking replacement from the Ravens' squad.

It's not Lamar Jackson, but backup quarterback Tyler "Snoop" Huntley has been named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster as Allen's replacement.
This isn't meant as a bash for Huntley, but Ravens fans can agree this one came as as shock. Huntley filled in as Baltimore's starter for the final four games of the season, and one playoff contest, and the results were not exactly inspiring. He went just 2-3 in those contests, only reached 200 or more passing yards during the playoff game and threw 2 touchdowns to 3 interceptions.
Keep in mind, the Pro Bowl voting is wrapped up in mid-December. By the time the Pro Bowl vote was completed, Huntley had made just one start against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 14. He went 8-for-12 with 88 passing yards and 0 TDs in that 16-14 win.
Huntley is a Pro Bowler and that will forever live in on his NFL resume.
