A.J. Brown continues to be a revelation for the Tennessee Titans after being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He's off to another dominant year this season as his rapport with QB Ryan Tannehill is clicking on all cylinders.
However, it appears the Titans could be without Brown in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns due to a surprise hip injury that prevented him from practicing on Thursday.
A lower-body injury is never ideal for a wideout, especially one that relies on agility to burn defenses like Brown. With the ailment popping up this late in the week, it's also concerning regarding his availability for Sunday.
Brown has appeared in nine games for the Titans this year after missing Weeks 2 and 3 due to a knee injury. The receiver has paced his team in targets (65), yards (638) and TDs (8).
In Week 12, Brown recorded 4 catches for 98 yards and a touchdown, along with a 42-yard kickoff return TD. His performance helped earn the Titans a pivotal win over the Indianapolis Colts that pushed Tennessee to the top of the AFC South.
If Brown can't go, look for Corey Davis (105 yards and 1 TD when Brown missed time) to step up.
Brown's status will be an important storyline heading into the Titans' clash with the 8-3 Browns on Sunday.
