Super Bowl tickets are as exclusive as they come, given the gaudy price tag and limited quantities actually available. Entry to this year's championship game was no different, with outrageous asking prices popping up prior to the matchup even being set.
There appears to be a noticeable shift, though, with the Big Game almost here.
Super Bowl Ticket Prices 2022
The least-expensive tickets for Super Bowl LVI were near $9K ahead of the Divisional Round. When the Rams-Bengals matchup was set, then the cheapest ticket was still a hefty $6,434 on TickPick. Now, the get-in price has been slashed to just $3,723 on TickPick.
That's certianly not chump change, and it's still likely out of the realm of possibility for most casual football fans. But for anyone hoping to tap into their savings and snag a ticket, there might not be a better time than now.
It would be no surprise, in this day and age of flipping items on the secondary market, if some scalpers bought up tickets at inflated prices in hopes of them going up. Instead, this dip could signal ticket holders trying to get what they can and taking a loss with spending trending downard.
The Rams enter Sunday's game as 4-point favorites, accoridng to FanDuel Sportsbook.
