Super Bowl Futures: Seahawks Super Bowl 56 Odds Revealed

The signs were there for a Seattle Seahawks collapse to end their 2020 campaign, and that's exactly what happened. Despite facing both playoff newcomer John Wolford and the injured Jared Goff, Seattle was unable to beat the Los Angeles Rams as both their offense and defense utterly failed them.
Despite a poor end to 2020, the Seahawks are getting respect from oddsmakers in the odds to win Super Bowl LVI, per FanDuel Sportbook's NFL futures.
Seahawks Super Bowl Odds
The Seahawks have +2000 odds to win next year's Super Bowl, which places them ninth among all teams. It's a sold ranking, although they trail the division rival Rams, who have shot up to +1200 following the Matthew Stafford trade.
With Shane Waldron replacing Brian Schottenheimer as the team's offensive coordinator, the Seahawks' offense will hopefully rebound after placing in the middle of the pack for yards per game (369.5). Seattle did score the eighth-most points per game (28.7), so there's weapons on the roster just waiting to be tapped into.
Russell Wilson is coming off of a career year, throwing for 4,212 yards and 40 TDs, while adding another six scores on the ground. DK Metcalf and Tyler Locker provided Wilson will two standout targets, with both surpassing 1,000 receiving yards and hauling in 10 touchdown grabs.
Given the serious threats around their dynamic QB, the Seahawks are an easy choice to be Super Bowl contenders. If they can tailor their offensive strategy more around Wilson and improve their secondary, they should have no problems contending once again.
