Steph Curry Has Funny Response to Kenny Smith Calling Him Out

The sports world tends to have a short memory. Stephen Curry is unquestionably the greatest 3-point shooter in NBA history, and he was the first player to start consistently shooting (and making) long-range 3's from deep beyond the arc.
Damian Lillard has been the latest player to master that shot, though, and Kenny "The Jet" Smith mentioned on Inside the NBA that he thinks Lillard might have even deeper range than Curry. Curry was clearly watching.
love you @TheJetOnTNT ….. but you trippin right now

Playing just five games this season, Curry only put up 9 3-point attempts from 30-plus feet, hitting 3 of them. If we look back at the 2018-19 season, though, Curry knocked down 18 of 50 attempts from 30-39 feet.
Based on that, the stats actually seem to support Smith's claims about Lillard.
Dame went 53-of-125 from 30 to 39 feet this season, notably hitting 8-of-12 from 35 to 39 feet. That's compared to 0-of-2 this season and 0-of-3 last season from Curry.
Damian Lillard is now 55 of 134 (41%) on 30-footers this season

These sample sizes are tiny though, and an elite shooter like Curry has every reason to feel disrespected by Smith's comments.
