The Pittsburgh Steelers have had some tough losses this season, yet they bounced back in a big way with a victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13. Head coach Mike Tomlin has his team back in the playoff race and it has caused the Steelers to surge up to No. 15 in ESPN's NFL power rankings.

Pittsburgh made one of the biggest jumps of the week, moving from No. 19 to No. 15. They passed over a divisional rival in the Cleveland Browns and have momentum on their side. Keep in mind the Steelers sit just 0.5 games back of the final AFC Wild Card spot with five weeks to go.

Of course, this is a team known for its dynamic defense. Pittsburgh leads the league in sacks (37.0) and is guided by NFL Defensive Player of the Year candidate T.J. Watt. The three-time Pro Bowler has been all over the field this season, racking up 16.0 sacks, 4 pass breakups and 4 forced fumbles across 10 games played.

The Steelers' playoff hopes may simply come down to the play of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. It is clear that he has the offensive weapons in front of him to succeed and he has shown flashes of success this year. Whether or not he can continue to play clean football (10 giveaways) remains to be seen.

Pittsburgh will look to keep their winning ways going when they take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 14's edition of Thursday Night Football. The Steelers head into that matchup as 3-point road underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
