The Pittsburgh Steelers head into the fall stuck in the middle of a tough division and no one truly knows what to expect from them after a brutal playoff loss in 2020. Their fans will love to see that the team is getting some love by checking in at No. 11 in ESPN's latest NFL power rankings, though.

The Steelers trail two other divisional rivals in the Baltimore Ravens (No. 6) and Cleveland Browns (No. 7). However, the team's ranking did improve by four spots since the beginning of the preseason. They seem to be putting the pieces together and could become a force to be reckoned with by Week 1.
Pittsburgh addressed a major need in the 2021 NFL Draft by selecting running back Najee Harris in the first round. The former Alabama standout is set to be a workhorse for head coach Mike Tomlin after racking up 3,843 rushing yards (6.0 average) and 57 total touchdowns in four college seasons.
Of course, the Steelers' success will always be headlined by their tenacious defense. Linebacker T.J. Watt is back to lead a unit that ranked in the top five when it came to points allowed per game (21.2), yards per game allowed (310.8) and total takeaways (27) during the 2020 season.
Veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is set to return for his 18th NFL season and his play alone likely determines how far the Steelers can go. For now, Pittsburgh has odds set at +440 to win the AFC North division and odds set at +4400 to win the Super Bowl, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
