The NFL is constantly changing from week to week and personifies the popular phrase of "any given Sunday." Well, the Pittsburgh Steelers head into a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on a high, but they are being disrespected by the game's opening odds.

The Steelers are slated as 3-point road underdogs against the Vikings in Week 14, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. This game should be closer to a pick 'em at the very least. Minnesota has posted just a 3-2 record at home this season and is quickly falling out of postseason contention.

Minnesota is coming off a disappointing loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 13. The Vikings defense gave up 29 points to an offense that has ranked amongst the bottom five NFL teams in scoring all year. More importantly, all but one of the Vikings games have finished within one possession.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh stole a win at home against the Baltimore Ravens and is suddenly back in the AFC playoff race. The Steelers' defense grabbed its league-leading 37th sack and wreaked havoc on quarterback Lamar Jackson all day long. On the offensive side of the ball, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made sure to play clean football.

All things considered, this looks to be a matchup of two teams heading in opposite directions. The Steelers have momentum and should not be overlooked in this game. They have the roster to cover a field goal and could even sneak out of U.S. Bank Stadium with an outright win when all is said and done.
