The Green Bay Packers are on their bye week in Week 5, and rest happily, as they are one of the six remaining unbeaten teams. Much of their success has been due to Aaron Rodgers, who has stepped up in a big way this season, despite not having a strong cast of receivers to pass to.

Rodgers has played like his former MVP self. In fact, this stat suggests he will win the MVP award yet again this season.

A 92.8 QBR through four games is the highest ever tracked. This beats out Peyton Manning in 2013 and Tom Brady in 2007. Both of those players won the MVP in those years, and Manning currently holds the single season touchdown record for that season, with 55 passing touchdowns.

Rodgers has completed 70.5 percent of his passes for 1,214 yards and 13 touchdowns through these four games. While he would need to pick it up to set the new touchdown record, he is on track for an incredible, MVP-level season. His stats extrapolated over a full 16-game season would be 4,856 passing yards and 52 passing touchdowns. Of course, he has also not thrown an interception yet this season, and he has not thrown over four interceptions since 2017.

If the Packers continue winning, it will be because of Rodgers. And being the first or second seed in the NFC, it could be tough to deny Rodgers the league MVP for 2020.
