Smash Mouth Weighs in on 49ers' 2021 NFL Draft

Ever since the San Francisco 49ers traded up to the No. 3 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, fans and analysts alike have been tirelessly speculating about which quarterback the team will pick. But none of that is of any consequence now.

Because we've finally gotten the only NFL Draft take that matters: Smash Mouth's.

The San Jose-based band has weighed in on the top QB prospects. The band said I'm a Believer, in Fields, coming away impressed by the All-Star performance at his pro day.

They then compared Mac Jones to Aaron Rodgers, which is probably the first time anyone has made that comp. To button it all up, the band stated they'd want to draft Jones and trade Jimmy Garoppolo, or select either Trey Lance or Fields and keep Jimmy G.

Either way, it seems as if all of the top QB prospects are getting the Smash Mouth seal of approval. That news should have Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch Walkin' On The Sun come April.
