After watching their team fall in a painful loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football in Week 7, Seattle Seahawks fans should be comforted by a slight silver lining in the latest news to come out of Chris Carson's apparent foot injury in this game.
Carson suffered a mid-foot sprain in the first half of Sunday night's game against the Cardinals, and he was taken to the locker room before being replaced by Carlos Hyde.
Things have taken a positive turn following an MRI on Monday morning, however. Bob Condotta reports that the injury is luckily not considered significant.
Any type of physical setback to the foot or leg of a running back is, of course, a serious blow, but in light how serious these types of injuries often appear, this is the best news Carson and Seahawks' fans alike could have hoped to hear.
