The Seattle Seahawks have been without rookie running back Kenneth Walker since he was injured early on in their Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

As the team prepares for its Week 15 contest on Thursday Night Football, Walker's status remains in doubt. The game being early certainly doesn't help his chances.

Head coach Pete Carroll said Walker's status is still TBD, but that he will get some work in at practice on Monday. Seattle will get a better determination on Walker's outlook after that. Carroll seemed less optimistic about DeeJay Dallas' chances of playing in Week 15, though.

The team was without both running backs in Week 14, where Travis Homer filled in as the lead back, garnering 91 percent snap share on the day. Homer was underwhelming in his start, garnering just 34 total yards on the ground and in the air.

Walker exploded on the scene earlier this year when he was handed the starting role after Rashaad Penny got hurt. Now, Seattle's running game seems to be struggling without him. They took a loss at home in Week 14 to a bad Carolina Panthers team.

Seattle won't want to risk hurting Walker for the long term, but they really do need him back on field if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Seahawks are 3.5-point home underdogs in their game against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
