Starting at 1:05 p.m. ET, we have 10 races Thursday at Saratoga. Using
numberFire’s projections as a guide, here are some of the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing.

As always, check the program at "The Spa" for scratches and changes, and monitor the weather and track conditions.

(I will reference Equibase's Speed Figure in selected races, which tells you how fast a horse has been running in each of its races -- adjusted for track, distances, and conditions).

According to numberFire Racing's projections, these are the best bets to make at FanDuel Racing today.

1. Can't Keep Me Down and Playlist, Race 2

FanDuel Racing Odds: 4/1 and 3/1

Race 2 is a Maiden Special Weight for 2-year-old fillies sprinting 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf. Playlist (3/1) is the tepid favorite from the outside 10 post and she debuts off a nice series of workouts including on the turf for trainer Wesley Ward with jockey Johnny V up.

The numberFire data has Cant Keep Me Down (4/1) winning ahead of Playlist and Tell Me When (5/1), who is on the Also Eligible list. Can't Keep Me Down has been working well in the morning also, and the top trainer/jockey combo of Todd Pletcher and Irad Ortiz, Jr. will take money.

2. Dripping Gold and James Jones, Race 7

FanDuel Racing Odds: 10/1 and 5/1

Race 7 is a wide open Allowance race with a full field of 12 runners going 1 3/16 miles on the turf. James Jones (5/1) on the rail for EPO trainer Chad Brown is the most likely winner with Flavien Prat riding. He handled 9 furlongs when he broke his maiden at Churchill Downs back in early May with a solid effort.

Impulsiveness (4/1) won his turf debut here last month for trainer Todd Pletcher. Dripping Gold (10/1) offers value and he was an impressive debut winner here last summer. Now age 3, he missed finishing in-the-money in both his starts this year but ran his fastest race here last month with finishing within 2-lengths of the winner.

3. Linda's Gift and Gina Romantica, Race 9

FanDuel Racing Odds: 12/1 and 10/1

Race 9 is the $135,000 Risk Averse Stakes restricted to 3-year-olds at 1-mile on the inner turf. Canisy (7/2) and Customer List (5/1) with Irad Ortiz, Jr. riding for Chad Brown figure to go favored. But Skims (9/2) is the preferred pick ahead of Canisy, according to the numberFire data. Skims hit the board in a pair of graded stakes this year, but missed in his most recent.

Canisy won a longer race wire-to-wire last month here ahead of Linda’s Gift (12/1), who was compromised with a wide trip and can finish better this time with a stronger rider in Tyler Gaffalione.

A Mo Reay (8/1) is a first timer to consider with Luis Saez riding for Todd Pletcher. Same for Gina Romantica (10/1), another first timer who can also add a bigger payout in the exacta and trifecta with Flavien Prat riding for Chad Brown.
