The St. Louis Blues will play host to the San Jose Sharks in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night, with puck drop scheduled for 8 p.m. EST. The Blues will look to take a 2-1 series lead after stealing Game 2 in San Jose, 4-2.

The Blues are -145 favorites at home, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

As it's always smart to hear what those in the industry have to say before placing a bet, here are some expert predictions for Game 3.

Sharks vs Blues Predictions

StatSalt

Jason Green, of StatSalt, predicts that the Blues will take a 2-1 series lead over San Jose when it's all said and done Wednesday night. He points out that the Sharks have struggled on the road this postseason, owning a 3-7 record in their last 10 games away from home.

Sports Interaction

Payton Matthews, of Sports Interaction, predicts a 3-2 Sharks road upset Wednesday night. One unique trend that he believes points to a San Jose victory is that the club is 8-1 straight up with a plus-14 goal differential in odd-numbered games this postseason.

Doc's Sports

Tony Sink, of Doc's Sports, also predicts that the Sharks win Game 3. He makes note of several advanced statistics in his analysis, but San Jose's 54.1 percent Fenwick percentage (third in the NHL) could be what tips the scales in the team's favor Wednesday night.

Overall, two experts are predicting a road win for the Sharks while just one expects the Blues to successfully defend home ice.
