The New Orleans Saints had little issues in the passing game against the Green Bay Packers, as Jameis Winston threw 5 TDs to four different players. Still, three of those scores were to non-wide receivers, and that position group could use a boost with Michael Thomas out and Tre'Quan Smith recently placed on IR.

In order to beef up their WR room, the Saints are bringing back a former wideout to the practice squad.

Kenny Stills Saints

New Orleans is reuniting with Kenny Stills, giving the team a veteran playmaker who could soon be promoted to the official 53-man roster. The Saints can use any proven talent they can get, Smith's earliest return date is Week 4 and Thomas is out until at least Week 7.

Stills is headed back to where his career began after six years away from New Orleans. He was a fifth-round pick by the Saints in 2013 and made an immediate impression as a deep threat. The wideout racked up 95 receptions, 1,572 yards and 8 scores in two seasons with the team before he was traded in 2015.

New Orleans now turns its attention to a Week 2 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The Saints are 3.5-point road favorites in that game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
